The Utah photographers at Boudoir Bellamissa  Photography value the delicacy of each boudoir photography photo shoot.  Great effort is taken to make each photograph not only show the personality of the customer, but make the image as beautiful as possible.  Boudoir in the dictionary is described as a "Woman's private room."  There is a lot of time that goes into providing comfort for the customer, and also having a lot of fun, but the main goal is to create gorgeous images, and keep privacy at the highest standard.  The great thing about boudoir photography is that you see beautiful images from all different ages, sizes, and styles of women.  The average American woman is 5'4, and weighs 145 pounds.  Women in general are bombarded with unrealistic views of what is perfect.  As a photographer I relish imperfections, and welcome differences.  Perfect can become very boring to a photographer, and that is why boudoir photography is so intriguing, because you work with "real" women, and bring out their beauty.

The images of the ladies on the Boudoir Bellamissa Photography website have been released to Jeannie Shrives. It is not typical for Boudoir Bellamissa Photography to approach customers about adding their images to the website.  Consultations are very welcome, and advised.  It is not every day that you will be doing a boudoir photo shoot, and you might be very nervous.  I have found that within the first 10 minutes of shooting most of the ladies are loving it, and having a great time.  Boudoir photography doesn't have to naked or very scantily dressed, and I want my customers to know that you can be incredibly sexy with your clothes on.  I work with all comfort levels.  At the current time Boudoir Bellamissa Photography does not include a licensed make-up artist.  If you are interested in professional hair and make-up before your photo shoot, please contact me, and I can provide reputable individuals to assist you.  If you are interested in having your photo shoot at a hotel, a list of beautiful hotels in the Salt Lake area can be provided. 

All the images that are included on the high resolution CD are edited.  There are many options as far as photo albums, and prints.  Most customers prefer to have the high resolution CD to make their own prints, and with every CD from Boudoir Bellamissa Photography there will also be a release form from the photographer, so you will have no issues with making prints from you're CD.  A private password gallery is also included in the cost of the photo shoot.  Privacy is crucial in boudoir photography. 

Boudoir Bellamissa Photography's Utah photographers also offer other forms of photography with Bridal, Engagement, and Utah wedding photography.  Ask about specials that are going on, and discounts.

Great you're interested in having a Boudoir Shoot!!!  You could do nothing better to treat yourself (other than a massage from Breathe).  This Boudoir journey comes with a some nervousness, and hesitation, but if you can imagine the end product, and keep that in mind you're good to go.  So I wanted to put on the home page of Boudoir Bellamissa "The Process" from reading this to holding your photo's in your hand.  It's not every day that you dress up intimate, and have someone taking photo's of you, and just writing that made me nervous:)  However, I will try to make the journey as stress free as possible for you. 

1.  Call me 801 953 4641, and if I don't answer (I have a very active 5 yr old) I promise I will call you back.  I can verbally take you through the process of this Boudoir stuff, but also get an idea of what you want the end product to look like.  We will chat a few times before the scheduled shoot just to get down exactly what will happen. 
2.  Email my hair & make-up artist Angel.  I'm not bragging here, but I have the best hair & make-up gal on my side.  She is incredible at what she does, and she is very cool also. 
3.  When I chat with you on the phone we will go over the style you are looking for (Straight Boudoir, Retro, Goth, Burlesque, Classic, Rockabilly, Pin-up or anything you have in mind).  I usually email you some images that I find on the web that I think might fit what you're looking for, and if I'm way off base then email me back some images that you find on the web.  We will probably set a date for the shoot during our phone conversation, and then we need to check Angels schedule for your hair & make-up.  The payment for the shoot can be made to Boudoir Bellamissa the same day before the shoot takes place.  I do accept checks, and cash works fine also.  You are more than welcome to have your shoot done at my studio/house, but again it is your choice on where the shoot is done. 
4.  Relax, and have fun during the shoot.  Bring a friend with you if that would be more comfortable.  It's a breeze to have a shoot done, but just thinking about it can stress you out.  On most of my shoots the ladies have some wine before, but again that is up to you, and your comfort level (just a suggestion).
5.  Be prepared.  It doesn't take me long to actually shoot 300 frames.  It would be wonderful to have your outfits laid out, and know what you are wearing first, in the middle, and at the end.  I'm a great conversationalist, but you have to remember that you are paying for time.
6.  Boudoir Bellamissa provides a online gallery so you can view your images.  As I edit the images, I load them up on the gallery.  I'm fast at editing, but it depends how much I'm editing at one time.  I will take the safe route, and say two weeks or slightly less to get all the images edited.  If you're ordering a book, calendar, or prints, they are usually ready the next day.

I think I covered everything.  The women who have a Boudoir shoot done love it.  It's great to see how beautiful you really are, and it will make an excellent gift.  Feel free to call me 801 953 4641, and I would love to chat with you.
